Guidelines for Meetings in the Town Board of Trustees Conference Room

10/28/2020

Due to the recent spike in Covid-19 cases and in an effort to slow transmission of COVID-19, the Town of Porter has adopted the following guidelines for all persons attending meetings in the Town Board of Trustees Conference Room:

- No one should attend a public meeting in person if they are exhibiting fever or other symptoms of COVID-19 as designated or recognized by the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) and/or the Oklahoma State Department of Health; if they have recently been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, or have signs of any illness.

- All persons (including meeting participants and Town staff) entering Town Hall will have their temperature taken by a Town staff member before entering the Town Board of Trustees Conference Room.

- All chairs will be located 6 feet apart to comply with the United States Center for Disease Control guidelines. Limited seating will be available within the Town Board of Trustees Conference Room, with additional limited seating provided outside the conference room in the hallway. Seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

- Attendees are encouraged to wear a face covering if they so choose. Persons not wearing a face covering will not be questioned  unless social distancing is compromised.

- Anyone presenting or speaking during the public hearing will sign in upon entering the Town Board of Trustees Conference Room. A staff member will sanitize the podium after each speaker.

- The guidelines will remain in effect until further notice.
