Wagoner County will be issuing tickets to the owners of loose dogs around the town.

 

INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Porter will be accepting sealed bids on the following items: (a) 1955 GMC Fire Truck (has 5,000 original miles)  (b) 1947 Ford Fire Truck  (c) 1920s Model Gas Range (See slideshow for pictures)

Bids will be received at the the Porter Town Hall, 617 S. Main Street, Porter, Oklahoma from Monday February 3rd, until 5:00 p.m. March 5th. Bids will be opened Thursday, March 5th in the regular scheduled Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Items may be viewed at Porter Town Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call (918)483-0176 for further information. The Board of Trustees has the right to reject any and all bids.

 

Porter Public Works is proud to announce that online bill pay is available for our customers. Just click on the  box to the right where it says Payment Options. It will connect you to the correct spot to start the process of paying online. 

 

Beginning April 11, 2018, the Fire Department will be testing the storm sirens every Wednesday at noon (weather permitting).

 

                           


SECRETARY WANTED

The Town of Porter is accepting applications for a full time secretary.  Applicant can be from Porter or the surrounding communities.   Duties will include but will not be limited to the following:  Preparing financial reports, purchase orders, payroll and payroll reports, typing letters, reports and correspondence, filing documents, and performing other duties as assigned.  Computer and bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.  Applications will be accepted until March 20, 2020.   To obtain more information and/or to submit an application or resume, contact Town of Porter, 617 S.
